To check firmware version number

1. Turn on your interactive product.
   Important: You must see the appliance desktop to check firmware version.

2. Select System > About to view the firmware version number.

3. If the firmware version is different than the version listed in the downloads section (below), update your firmware. Follow the steps below to download and install the firmware update.

To update appliance  firmware

1. Download the WIM file from this page, and then save it to a USB drive. 

2. Connect the USB drive to your SMART product. If you have an SB800ie interactive whiteboard system with appliance, connect the USB drive to the USB port on the appliance control panel (ACP) on the left side of the pen tray.

   OR

   If you have an 8070i appliance system, connect the USB drive to one of the three USB receptacles on the appliance behind the right side of your interactive display. Do not use the single USB receptacle on the left side of your interactive display.

3. Select System > Settings on the SMART Business toolbar.

   The login screen appears.

4. Type your administrator password, and then click Log On

   The Configuration Setting menu appears.

5. Click on the Administration tab, and then select the Firmware Update tool.

6. Browse to the WIM file on the USB drive.

7. Click Open, and then follow the on-screen instructions.
